The work, the price, and who owns the site.
Effective September 21, 2026. These terms are between you and Kyros Company LLC, a Virginia LLC. Everyday English on purpose.
Who this is with
Kyros Company LLC. Public email is info@kyros-co.com — that is the main way to reach us. We reply evenings and weekends from that inbox. These terms cover kyros-co.com and the websites we build for you.
Who can use this
You must be 18 or older and able to contract for the shop that is hiring us.
The form is a note
Sending the form does not spin up a live site. It is a note. We read it and write back. A written price comes once we know enough to quote it fairly.
Sending the form or using an account means you agree to receive job-related email at the address you give — quotes, invoices, account invites, and approve links. That is not ads mail. Email is how we reach you: info@kyros-co.com.
Photos, logos, and copy
You warrant you have the right to the photos, logos, and copy you send. You keep ownership. You give Kyros a limited license to use them to build and host the site you hired. We don’t use them in our marketing without asking.
Price
Brochure sites are typically $1,500–$3,000, depending on pages, copy, and how custom the design is. Custom or complex work — stores, booking, member areas, custom tools — starts at $4,000 and is quoted. You’ll get a written price before anything starts.
Hosting and ongoing care are billed separately. The brochure or custom price is the build.
Payment
50% before work starts. Work starts only after those funds have actually landed. A payment that is still processing does not count. 50% when the site is live.
Invoices may be paid through Authorize.net (primary) or Square (backup) when that invoice is issued. Pay on that processor’s page for the invoice. That is how the deposit and the remainder are collected. When you type a card on Authorize.net’s or Square’s page, that company’s own privacy notice and terms apply to that card entry. Square’s privacy notice and terms are on their site. Authorize.net’s own privacy notice and terms of use apply on theirs.
If you cancel
No refunds unless no work has been started. Cancel before we start any work and the deposit comes back. Once any work has started: nothing already paid is refunded — not the deposit and not any later payment. Kyros keeps what was paid, you keep the draft, and you do not owe the unpaid remaining balance.
Notes and fixes
Notes and fixes we already agreed on are in the price. Extra work beyond that (new pages, extra features, a redesign) can be billed extra — we’ll give you a number first.
Who owns the site
You own the live site and the logins in your name. That’s the point. Hosting and care, if you buy them, are still separate bills. Skip care and you still own the site.
How we talk
Email is the usual way: info@kyros-co.com. We reply evenings and weekends, including Saturday and Sunday. You work one on one with us, not a call center.
We can refuse a job
No firearms. Everyone’s welcome here otherwise. If a job isn’t a fit, we’ll say so instead of stretching. We can refuse a job.
If something goes wrong
For that job, Kyros’s liability is limited to the fees you actually paid for that job. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business.
If Authorize.net, Square, Render, Cloudflare, or another tool we use has an outage, that is their problem under their own terms. If we broke something we built, a reasonable reshoot of that work is the fix — not a check for what the downtime “cost.”
Virginia law
Virginia law governs these terms. If we ever have to sort something out in court, the courts are in Virginia.
If one part doesn’t hold
If a court says one part of these terms does not hold, the rest still does.
The whole agreement
These terms plus the written quote or invoice are the whole agreement for that job.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update the date on this page. The current version is the one on this URL.
